Program Placement
In order for students to be placed in our programs, they must take the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) conducted by ÖSYM, receive a sufficient score from the TYT score type, and choose this program in the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) Preference Notification Form.
Work Areas of Graduates
Forestry and Forest Products Program graduates become Forest Conservation Officers in the Forest Regional Directorates of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs and work as Forest Technicians in the private sector. Hunting and Wildlife graduates work as Forest Conservation Officers in the National Parks, Nature Conservation, Sensitive Areas, Wildlife, Hunting Management and Biodiversity Departments within the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks affiliated to the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs in the public sector. They can also find jobs in private sector hunting grounds, game farms, companies operating in hunting tourism, safari parks and hunting clubs.
Child Development Program graduates have the opportunity to find employment in official and private preschool and private education institutions, orphanages, crèches, kindergartens and preschools, children's clubs and children's clinics affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Health, Social Services and Child Protection Agency.
Professional Advancement
According to their associate degree graduation fields, Hunting and Wildlife program graduates can vertically transfer to the Forestry Engineering undergraduate program if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM; Forestry and Forest Products program graduates can vertically transfer to the Forest Industry Engineering and Forestry Engineering undergraduate programs. Child Development Program Graduates can be placed in four-year Child Development undergraduate programs with the (DGS) exam.
