Bursa Uludağ University Graduate School of Social Sciences can apply for and be accepted as a student in the following statuses:
- Student admission to thesis and non-thesis master's programs
- Student admission to doctoral programs
- Special student admission
- Student admission by postgraduate transfer
- Student admission by transfer between graduate programs
- Foreign student admission
- Admission of ranked students
The general rules regulating the GSSS student application process are listed below.
- Applications ara made "Online". Applications by mail are not accepted. The information filled in during the online application is accepted as the candidate's statement.
- Applications that do not meet the special conditions required by the departments and the rules determined by the regulations are rejected.
- The Cumulative Grade Point Average (GANO), which shows the graduation status during the application, is checked on the Council of Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS). If the necessary information cannot be obtained from YÖKSİS, the application is rejected. To update YÖKSİS information, you need to contact the student affairs of the faculty/institute you graduated from.
- Candidates can follow their interview lists and exam results via the online system.
- If candidates have both 4-point grading system scores and universities' 100-point system scores on their transcripts, they must enter their 4-point system scores into the online application system.
- In evening education programs, an exam is held if there are at least 10 applications, and the program can be opened if at least 10 students among the successful students register. When the program is opened, elective courses can be opened if chosen by at least 5 students.
- Candidates can only apply to one thesis and non-thesis master's program at the same time. It is not possible to apply to two theses or two non-thesis programs at the same time.
- The applications, registrations, and/or studentships of those who are found to have falsified and/or forged their documents will be cancelled.
