PhD in IR

Students applying for this PhD Program’s entrance exam must have a transcript grade of minimum 2.75/4.00. Candidates applying to this program must have a bachelor's and master's degree in International Relations.  Candidates must have a minimum score of 55/100 in the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (In Turkish, ALES) and also a minimum score of 55 in the exam of foreign language. Evaluation of examination results is as follows: ALES score 50%, interview 30%, and transcript grade 20%. After the evaluation, candidates are ranked according to their average scores. In case of equal points, the ALES score is decisive. Program’s quota is filled starting from the candidate with the highest score. Candidates with an overall score of less than 70/100 are considered "unsuccessful".
