 Songür Özmen, Production Manager at Tat Gıda, shared his career journey and experiences in production processes with Food Technology Students

Mustafakemalpaşa Vocational School continues to bring Food Technology Programme students together with the business world. Within the scope of the Career Planning course, Mr Songür Özmen, one of the graduates and currently working as Tat Gıda Karacabey Production Manager, shared his career journey in the sector, his knowledge and experiences about production processes with Food Technology students and provided them with guiding information.

Starting from his first steps in the food industry, Mr Songür Özmen shared with the students all stages of the production process at Tat Gıda, quality control practices, R&D activities and innovative approaches to food safety. With examples from his own career journey, he inspired the students by explaining the dynamics of the sector and the tips for being successful in the business world. Özmen also explained with examples how it is possible to build a successful career in the food sector and how it is possible to rise within the sector.

Students gained important awareness from Özmen's information and real life experiences. Especially the details given about the business processes were a valuable guide for young people who want to step into the sector. At the end of the event, Lecturer Dr. Neşe Özmen, Head of the Food Technology Programme, presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Songür Özmen for his continuous contributions to the sector and the university.

This meaningful meeting provided students with the opportunity to get to know the business world closely and was an important guide in determining their career goals.
