Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) signed an "ICT Academy" Partnership Agreement with Huawei, one of the world's leading companies in 5G and communication technologies, with the coordination of the Engineering Faculty Computer Engineering Department

Within the scope of the agreement, Huawei creates courses on "Data Communication and Network Technology, Artificial Intelligence Technology and Application, Data Storage Technology, HCIA-5G, HCIA-Security, HCIA-WLAN, HCIA-IoT, HCIA-Cloud Service". These courses will be transformed into virtual classrooms by BUÜ academics and transferred to students. BUÜ academics and students will be able to benefit from the courses free of charge.

5G, IT and ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE COURSES WILL BE GIVEN

Dr. Murtaza Cicioğlu, Computer Engineering Department, said "Thanks to the academic cooperation we have made with Huawei, it is planned to provide training to the instructors in fields such as 5G and artificial intelligence, which are among the most important informatics issues of today and the future, and then to train students in international standards and prepare them for the future through the instructors in the relevant fields. Our students who are successful in the courses will be entitled to take Huawei's internationally recognized certification exams free of charge, and they will be more advantageous in internship and job recruitment."

WE CATCHED UP THE WORLD STANDARD IN ONLINE EDUCATION

Indicating that the cooperation makes them happy, BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. A. Saim Kılavuz emphasized that they try to offer the most up-to-date educational opportunities to their students.

Although we have no previous experience in this matter, we have come a long way. Today, we have achieved world standards. As a result of the protocol signed with Huawei, we will create virtual courses and provide technology training to our academicians and students in these courses. I sincerely thank Huawei Turkey for its cooperation and all our academics who contributed to the signing of it."
