On December 13, 2021, our university was selected as a Research University by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

Within the framework of the "Matching Project with Priority Sectors Based on the Competencies of Research Universities," our university was designated with "Food Supply Security" and "Automotive Sector" as priority sectors.

As a result of the evaluation, our department has achieved the prestigious distinction of being ranked first in Türkiye in the field of "Animal Nutrition."
